Susanne Markgren is the Director of Technical Services at Manhattan College, in the Bronx. She has served on both local and national committees of ACRL, and has written articles, book reviews, and chapters for a variety of publications. She is the co-author of Career Q&A: A Librarian’s Real-Life, Practical Guide to Managing a Successful Career, with Tiffany Eatman Allen, and How to Thrive as a Library Professional: Achieving Satisfaction and Success, with Linda Miles. She received her MLIS from the University of Texas at Austin, and her MFA in creative writing from Manhattanville College.
